Movement is Medicine. The mind is designed to think and the body is made to move! Embodied Movement is being connected to the energy of your body and how it flows and expresses itself through the movements you make or don't make.
You can be either conscious or unconscious of the way you move your body through space. Your body tells a story of how you move through life in general. Any limitations, impeded mobility and different movement patterns exhibited by your body can reveal limitations, stuck beliefs and patterns and traumas suffered either physically or emotionally that you may have buried deep within the depths of your subconscious mind.
As we work to free the body through conscious movement we start to free the mind and release old limiting belief patterns, behaviours and traumas we are holding onto. Your body is your temple, let it be your teacher, let your breath be your guide and your let your mind be your witness. Movement is the medicine of the soul.
